Code of Conduct

IdleArc - Version 2026-04-29-001

By playing IdleArc, you agree to the rules below. Violations may result in temporary mutes, account suspensions, or permanent bans of your account and any related accounts. We may take action based on logs, telemetry, server-side detection, or community reports, and we will not always disclose the methods we use. Acceptance is required to continue playing.

1. Fair Play & No Cheating

Use only the official IdleArc client to play the game. Do not modify game files, intercept or replay network traffic, edit memory of the running game, or alter your client in any way that gives you an advantage other players cannot get through normal play.

Submitting forged data to the server, attempting to spoof your account or other players, or impersonating IdleArc staff is strictly forbidden.

2. No Botting, Automation, or Macros

You must control your own gameplay actions in real time. Do not use bots, scripts, auto-clickers, macros, hardware input simulators, automated routing tools, or any third-party software that performs gameplay actions on your behalf.

Leaving the game running while idle systems progress (combat ticks, offline rewards, autoplay granted by Premium) is fine — that is the intended idle experience. What is not fine is automating decisions, taps, or input that the game expects you to make in person.

3. No Exploiting Bugs or Glitches

If you discover a bug that gives you an unintended advantage — duplicating items, stat overflow, free currency, killing a boss without cooldown, infinite-loop crafting, etc. — you must stop using it immediately and report it via Discord or by email.

Continuing to use a known exploit, or sharing it with others, is treated as cheating and may result in account rollback or permanent ban without warning.

4. No Real-Money Trading (RMT)

In-game accounts, characters, items, currencies (gold, Arcstone, etc.), and progress may not be sold, bought, traded, or gifted for real money or anything of real-world value. This includes third-party marketplaces, Discord trades, and any payment outside the official in-app store.

Buying or selling RMT services results in permanent bans of every account involved, including buyers.

5. No Third-Party Tools or Modified Clients

Do not use modified versions of the IdleArc client, custom servers, packet injectors, debuggers attached to the running app, trainer tools, or any third-party software that interacts with the game beyond what the official app provides.

Browser-based companion sites that read public data (e.g. rankings) are fine. Tools that send instructions to the game on your behalf are not.

6. Chat & Community Conduct

The in-game chat has its own rules and they apply in full here: be respectful; no harassment, hate speech, slurs, sexual or violent content; no spam, scams, or phishing; no sharing personal information; no impersonation; keep it appropriate for all ages.

Violations of chat conduct can result in mutes, chat bans, or full account bans depending on severity. Repeated or severe violations skip warnings.

7. Enforcement, Appeals & Updates

Enforcement is at the discretion of the IdleArc team. Penalties range from temporary mutes and chat bans to suspensions, account rollbacks, and permanent bans of all related accounts and devices.

If you believe an action was made in error, contact us on Discord or by email. We will review every appeal but reserve the right to make the final call.

These rules may be updated at any time. When the rules change, you will be asked to accept the new version on your next launch before continuing to play. Continuing to play after accepting means you agree to the current version of this Code of Conduct.
